The Kata Palm Resort & Spa, set in a verdant tropical paradise, is located just minutes away from the silky white sands of world famous Kata Beach on Phuket Island in Southern Thailand. The Kata Palm Resort & Spa offers a broad choice of upscale accommodation including 80 Superior "pool view" rooms, 83 Deluxe "pool view" and 14 Deluxe "pool access" rooms, each with a private balcony, all of which front directly onto the two large swimming pools.
We can also offer our most discriminating guests a choice amongst three oversized Super Deluxe "Premier Suites" that are expandable into two sumptuous living and sleeping areas for those guests who require the very finest in exquisitely furnished traditional Thai accommodation.
Every room in the Kata Palm Resort & Spa comes equipped with its own individually controlled air conditioning system, hand carved teak wood trim and furnishings to further impart that unique Thai ambience, satellite TV with upwards of 40 local and International channels, IDD telephone, refrigerator plus a well stocked mini bar offering beverages and snacks at competitive prices, deluxe washroom facilities that, of course, include both bath and shower, and a private balcony overlooking the swimming pools situated between the two wings of the hotel surrounded by tastefully landscaped interior grounds.

Kata Palm Resort & Spa It was a beautiful place, service, breakfast perfect, excellent value for money and I received an upgrade as I had booked a twin room for my mother and I, they gave us a king size bed and I asked if we could have a room with 2 beds. The next moring we were given a beautiful deluxe room with 2 beds and a couch and a beautiful bathroom. I would stay again and am taking Mum and Dad back next year. My mother who is 73 adhored the place it was great to see her have so much fun and have her firdt thai experience a good one |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa Wonderful hotel !! High value for money! We were upgraded from Superior to Deluxe, meaning that we paid 1,200 baht for a very big, nice, comfortable, luxury and exceptionally clean room facing the beautiful swimmingpool! From outside, the pool access rooms looked very nice and we would consider booking one of those next time. Staff was nice and professional, no complaints. Breakfast was very good, above average. The location ok - 5 minutes to the beach, everything else in walking distance. Spa is expensive, but Thai massage at the pool offered at acceptable rates. We would definately choose to stay at Kata Palm Resort again! |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa Great Hotel. We upgraded to a pool access room which was fantastic, right next to the pool bar. Breakfast was excellent, just about anything you want plus more. Services and staff were very nice and very helpful. I would stay at this hotel again. Very close to everything market next door. Decor in the rooms were beautiful. Not just a hotel room. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa On our annual trip to my wife’s homecountry we wanted to take my Thai in-laws along with us to the south so that they could enjoy some more time with us and our 7 year old son (… and allowing me some spare time to play golf…). The selection of Kata Palm on behalf of the awailable web-infos proved to be a perfect choice and the whole booking process through Sawasdee was smooth as always. We stayed there for a week in the end of September in 2 superior rooms with connecting door, located on the ground floor with direct access into the garden and pool area. In our case this was a much better choice than the deluxe pool access rooms, in which we probably would not have seen our boy being dry any time at all! We can strongly recommend Kata Palm for a family holiday, rooms, infrastructure, breakfast buffet, servicelevel and friendlyness were excellent. The location is also very convenient with plenty of restaurants close by, the beach is either reached in 5-10 minutes walking or with the free hotel shuttle that takes you straight to the beach section with chairs and umbrellas reserved for Kata Palm guests. The only negative aspects we experienced during our stay were the high and dangerous surf at Kata (red flags = no swimming, which is typical for this season) plus the hectic and noise (…) when we found ourselves in the middle of a chinese group tour during breakfast one day, but the pool area in the hotel is a great alternative and having breakfast a bit later was a simple solution as well. Kata Palm will be our first consideration whenever we will travel to Phuket again in the future! |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa Good place - say 3 and a half stars - could be 4 if they spruced it up a bit. Room was fine, kids loved the swimming pools, breakfast buffet tasty enough. Never ate there in the evening as lots of restaurants around. Ten minute flat walk to the beach - not a problem. Great low season rate and cannot fault it at this price. Probably try a different beach in Phuket next time, but if we came back to Kata, we d be happy to stay here again. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa Value for money. Service very good. Nice garden and pool area. Breakfast buffet good. Stayed 10 nights with family and no complaints. My wife and kids got bit by mosquitoes for a few nights but I didn t notice them. For some reason resorts in Thailand don t use screen doors. 5 minute walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this resort. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa Nice clean hotel, very friendly staff, large rooms, great pools one like a Venice canal which the kids loved. Managed to get free wifi internet on my laptop from the balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast had a good selection. Situated near to the beach and eating places, very convenient. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa what a great resort, from the moment we arrived we were looked after, the staff were attentive to all our needs, the pool access room was fantastic and the pool area great. mini bar was cheap which made it easy to hang by the pool and soak up the sun. Thanks, we ll be back. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa we were disappointed when we first got to the hotel because the room we booked a pool view room was actually looking over a pool being renovated. we got little help from the hotel at the start but after Sawadee intervened we were eventually given an upgrade and a good room. Apart from these early issues we found the hotel to be excellent Beautiful surrounds and a lovely pool. Breakfast was a good mix and the staff are friendly.We would stay here again as it is quieter than Patong and the beach here is lovely with some surf. good shopping and restaurants close by. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa This Hotel is quite large, but it gives a feeling of beeing quite small and cosy. The rooms are big enough and the quality of services are very good. Free Internet in the room is one. Breakfast buffe was excellent! Situated in the block behind the beach-strip. 5 minutes walk to the beach! |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa This is a beautiful resort and very good value (we went during the off-peak season). We stayed in the second-cheapest room and it was lovely - very spacious and fantastic views over the amazing swimming pool. The swimming pool was the highlight. My kids (4 years and 18 months) spent 3 h continuous swimming there the first day! If you are travelling with young kids then I don t recommend the pool side rooms as they would be a nightmare trying to keep the kids out of the water. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa Hotel was excellent. Stayed in the Deluxe Poolview - very nice room. Staff were very helpful. Family type place - suitable for couples as well who want it nice and quiet. Highly recommended. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa A lovely hotel, friendly staff, good room, 2 beautiful pools and children s pool and sand pit. Shuttle bus to beach. Food good but not really many vegetarian options. We didn t find the tour desk any good, very overpriced for boat to Phi Phi and when we asked for car hire with child seat she said too difficult in phuket but we phoned budget rent a car and got car with child seat delivered to hotel the next day. |

Kata Palm Resort & Spa We were there for two weeks with our five years old boy. The tropical garden inside the hotel is wonderful and exspecially the pool is for kids a Highlight. Service was really OK and our room was in good condition and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Although the prices for the rooms are really fair and OK. There was only one thing to remark which is not recommendable. We booked at the Songkran Festival a Dinnershow (warm and cold Bufet). It was chaotic cause of less organisation and too expensive. |
