Pattaya Wan Lai Festival

Pattaya Wan Lai Festival or Songkran Festival for all Thais is held yearly on the 19th of April. Activities during this event are bathing rituals for Buddha images, pouring scented water to parents or elders for their blessing and a colorful Wan Lai parade. The celebrants, both Thais and foreigners joyfully splash water on each other.
